Ad Altare Dei
The purpose of the Ad Altare Dei (To the Altar of God) program is to help Roman Catholic Scouts develop a fully Christian way of life in the faith community. The program is organized in chapters based on the seven Sacraments. The seven Sacraments are a primary means toward spiritual growth.

Pope Pius XII
The purpose of the Pope Pius XII program is to help Boy Scouts and Venturers examine how being a Christian affects daily life in a real world, to challenge them to evaluate their own personal talents and abilities, and to give them an opportunity to share faith and practice their religion among peers. The Pope Pius XII program deals with church-related ministries and vocations (single, married, ordained).

There are of course many other religious emblems programs available. These programs have been developed by the various religious groups to encourage their youth members to grow stronger in their faith.

Scroll of Honor Certificate The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting may award the Scroll of Honor Certificate to any adult who has contributed to the spiritual development of Catholic youths through Scouting. Adults do not earn the Scroll of Honor Certificate per se; they are recommended by application to a diocesan board of review by another person.

The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting may award the Bronze Pelican emblem to adult Scouters who have contributed to the spiritual development of Catholic youths through Scouting for an extended period of time. Scouters do not earn the Bronze Pelican emblem per se; they are recommended by application to a diocesan board of review by another person.
