With a new Scouting year comes a new web site (with lots of structural improvements, some visible and some "behind the scenes"). If you can't find what you're looking for, don't fret... it may just not have been brought over from the old site yet.

Troop 505 is proud to have earned the Pope Paul VI National Catholic Quality Unit Award for the ninth consecutive year. The award was presented on February 5, 2012 at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. Msgr. Sheltz (center) was named the new auxiliary bishop for Galveston-Houston on February 21.

Would you like to see and hear Astronaut and Distinguished Eagle Scout Mike Fossum? He just returned from six months aboard the International Space Station and Boy Scouts in uniform are invited to attend the program free of charge. He will be at the New Eagle Reception on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Merrell Center in Katy, beginning 6:50pm. RSVP required to Devin.Koehler@shac.org by February 27, 2012, for Boy Scouts and their parents. Signups at the door are not allowed. You do not need to be an Eagle Scout to attend the program.
