Welcome to Troop 505's home on the web!  We are chartered to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Houston, TX and we are part of:

  • Sam Houston Area Council

We are proud to be:

  • BSA Quality Unit since 1988
  • Pope Paul VI National Catholic Quality Unit since 2003

We generally meet Mondays at 7:30 pm at the St. Vincent de Paul Scout House on Buffalo Speedway (click here for a Mapquest map)

With a new Scouting year comes a new web site (with lots of structural improvements, some visible and some "behind the scenes").  If you can't find what you're looking for, don't fret... it may just not have been brought over from the old site yet.

Pope Paul VI National Catholic Quality Unit Award for 2015

Troop 505 is proud to have earned the Pope Paul VI National Catholic Quality Unit Award for the thirteenth consecutive year. The award was presented on February 7, 2016 at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.
